MILLENNIUM STADIUM ENTERTAINS 83,000-PLUS in SEVEN MONTHS
Because of the overwhelming success Monster Jam has experienced in Cardiff, these massive machines will return to the capital of Welsh sports on 6 June 2009 for the third show in two years.
“Monster Jam, in less than one year, has become a staple event at Millennium Stadium," said Alex Luff, Millennium Stadium Project Manager. “The shows’ ticket sales have out-performed our expectations. Tickets for next year’s Monster Jam show are already on sale and selling well, and we are expecting even larger, more enthusiastic crowds then in the two previous events.”
“There is no doubt that the first stop on the 2008 European Tour will be hard to top,” said Magnus Danielson, senior director of European events. “The 12 trucks that competed over weekend are the best in the world. The level of competition is unparalleled and the course they competed on with obstacles over 20’ tall, it launched fan favorites like Maximum Destruction® and Grave Digger® to heights that have yet to be seen in Europe.”
